Efem was so excited from the results of the experiment that Lesley did with Pinterest that she just lit up and had to share the results with The CAT. Here is what was learned:
This is an example of how you can label a single image and see how many times it can be posted. The main thing I wanted to discover was if Pinterest would recognized these as five individual pins or as the same pin. Pinterest saw each as being unique and a new pin.
Now the downsize of this was that since I created these all at once and pinned them all at once... I lost impression value. The first one hit high and then each one went down in numbers from there. What also was interesting is that by using my Engagement page I was able to see the Stats very clearly on these pins. Plus my picture/pin did not show up on my Engagement page if I posted to a group board. After thinking about it, it does make sense since a group board isn't a board directly on my page but a shared board.
So just to recap... if you have 3 or 4 pictures re-labeling the images for each picture with different links would create up to 15 to 20 unique pins... that is almost a whole month if you just pin once a day!
Efem and The CAT hope you enjoyed the hint this week - they did.
Snoop has found several articles about Instagram and Pinterest while searching for stories from something called the World Wide Web... we don't know what that means, but he swears by it...
