The Green Eyes have the "ayes". I created this post on my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/misplacedolls/) to showcase how choosing the color of the eyes can even make a difference in the personality of my characters.
I had originally planned to go with the brown eyes but people's reaction were overwhelming to have the green. I listen to my "guides"... so green it was.
Now finally it is time to decide how the clothes reflect the character. I find it funny that I am reading one of "my" romance books where the heroine is a seamstress. I know the clothes can make the "man", but the heroine's point of view is also of how the clothes reflect the "inner" man. What characteristics do I want reinforced? Which attributes to reveal?
Well, I am off to make my list of words to describe my character and see what texture, color, or weaves of fabric best reflects those words...
A special thanks to Shari Watkins for a great inspirational piece to start with. She and I exchanged fabric boxes. I was surprised with the box just showing up as I was deciding how to dress Sneefle. This piece does have a few of the qualities I am looking for. How I love serendipity.
