This is about the magic that used to be in the yard. It took several years to create the magical fairy land I had discovered and enhanced in my yard. There were fairy villages, Captain Hook and his ship, Peter and the lost boy's hideout in the trees. Then we had to move. The 100 trees we had just planted were also in jeopardy. We tried to save 50 of them by giving them to friends and family. We have found later that none of those survived. Deer and neglect had taken the other remaining trees.
The land had been barely maintained. There was no one to feed the fairies or keep the sacred stones in place. We were lucky enough to be able to hang on to the land and through the grace of Spirit, we have now returned to reclaim it.
I walk out into the yard and see how the grass has grown where it shouldn't have. Weeds have been given free range and the work looks so insurmountable to reclaim the magic that was once there.
This won't be an easy project, but then anything worthwhile never is. It is just a matter of picking oneself up and dusting oneself off again and jumping in. One doesn't think about that the bones aren't as limber as before, or as young. Does one get old because they quit believing in the magic, or does one regain their youth by seeking the magic?
So today I regained my power. I grasped just a small section and cleared away the weeds. I am Inviting you and the magic to come into my garden. Follow the path of my fairy garden as the magic is reclaimed, enhanced and the power drawn in.
