Nemmer trudged down the trail, grumbling to himself about that stupid cat. He was not happy to have go back home to tell his wife that The CAT was not at Efem’s tree grove. Meanwhile Efem was conversing with the Dusty Mytes to see if they had seen The CAT. While others wondered where The Cat at that moment was, he was not thinking about them at all.
So, he continue to prowl around through the woods going wherever he wanted (like all cats), pondering and searching for the answers he was seeking. He did not worry about those that may be looking for him at all (again like all cats).
The CAT did liked Efem though. She, being a tree mother, thought she was always helping him out of a tree, but The CAT knew better. He never was stuck in a tree, (you have never seen a cat skeleton there have you?) he was merely waiting for the next meal to come along.
For when he got hungry, he would show up at whichever place was the closest. Putting on his poor pitiful starved look, the sisters would soon start cooing and petting him. At the same time, they would tell him how starved he looked and complained that nobody has fed The CAT. He had to admit to himself that he did like when they scratched behind his ears. That was purrrrfect! The best part so far of his nine lives. He would then show his biggest smile with a sparkle in his teeth to let them know he was well pleased with his Pets.
