Have you read Efem's special connection to The CAT which she did not know could even talk until recently? Now The CAT is ornery, stubborn, mischievous, and sometime wickedly playful, but his worst vice is that he likes to listen to gossip.
When Efem is truly happy (like when she is with the CAT) it is hard to keep all that happiness inside and she begins to glow! So, as she continues to pet and glows, The Cat continues to purr and ponders about the latest gossip.

Efem is a Tree Mother. Tree Mothers are spirits of the Trees (like the dryads), but of an older and more mature type. Being a tree mother, Efem also loves to share her wisdom with the other trees.
