Ffion, The Shadows' Faery Princess
Being a princess is also full of lots of responsibilities too. Thankfully she has Dulbbe that is willing to help her out but he is, after all, her father's minion. Which is why she was thrilled when a Flutterby showed up for her Debut. It stayed with her and now rides on her hip. It said it was sent from the Dowager (what a nice lady) and that she would help teach Ffion more about them.

One of the things that Ffion loves is her name. It is pronounced Fee-On. She has heard it could mean "fair" which as a princess one must have ones own stylish flair but she also likes the other meaning which is "foxglove". As a faery she loves the flowers and tries to watch over them especially in her special garden in the palace. Foxglove brings the energy of pride, intuition, creativity and energy. For a future ruler of the Shadows' Realm, Ffion figures these are all good qualities she will need to have to be as good of a ruler as her father the King is.
Though once Awena shared with her that Foxglove in the Language of the Flowers also meant that "I am ambitious for you, rather than for myself." Ffion always tries to strive for that and takes that as a good ambition to have.
So as Ffion dressed for her Debut, adding her favorite crystal pendant, she was aware of the power of the Moon Flowers associated with her kingdom. This is why she had her costume designer include them in her corset as well as how they are also in her crown. She doesn't understand fully their power just yet, but she knows that Awena will also be helping her to learn about that too. So many teachers and with things that a princess has to learn to be a good ruler.
