Since he was a small lad, Jack Dafty had always wanted to be sailing the seas.  Maybe not as a pirate but then he wasn't your average pirate.  He liked to think he could dazzle his way out of any situation with a sharp word and a hypnotizing smile.  So far it had gotten him far for here he was, Captain of his own ship.

What a beautiful ship it was too.  Strong when the winds blew her in large gales.  Sensitive to his touch.  So sensitive that Captain Dafty felt a connection to this sleek beauty like nothing else in this world.  At times he didn't know where he began and the ship ended.  That is how closely he was bonded to his ship.

Jack also knew that he was married to the Sea.  Nothing gave him more satisfaction than when his ship, The Bonny Lass, and him were able to travel around the wide seas.  He still found excitement when discovering a new island or finding a hidden cove.  Hidden coves were his favorite spots as that is also where he liked to hide his stash of his favorite brew.   Rum was the perfect cargo to find and also to hide away for those lonely cold dark nights when only the stars were your company.  

It was just that type of quiet night as Jack was walking the deck of the ship that something very unique happened.  "Hmmm, this rum warms the belly tonight," Jack mumbled to himself.  He was drinking from his favorite silver goblet that he "acquired" from a Spanish frigate filled with his favorite rum. "This goblet always adds its own spice to my brew knowing how I got it," chuckled Jack as he raised the goblet yet again to his lips.

As Captain Jack was casually staring out over the open water enjoying his rum, little did he know that a Wish Dragon was also flying high in the sky with no true destination in mind.  Just enjoying the calm balmy seas while dreaming of his favorite drink, the ambrosia made by the SPICE agents.  Both enjoying the moment without a care in the world and no true destination in mind.

The one thing about a calm night with the sea waves slowly pushing along The Bonny Lass, sound carries far over water.  Especially when a Wish Dragon is bored with no destination in site.  It was at that moment when Jack lowered his goblet and with a sigh said, "For as fast as you are Bonny Lass, I do wish you sail over the seas like we were flying.  How many more islands and coves we could find if we were totally free."

Now our rum sodden captain was thinking of how brilliant it would be to sail the seas faster than the wind while the bored Wish Dragon was gliding along in the skies hidden in the clouds above.  When Jack's words drifted up to him, he simply said "Wish Granted."  Immediately a green glittery mist surrounded Captain Dafty's ship and lifted it into the skies.  For a Wish Dragon is a literal creature and when Captain Dafty wished he could fly over the seas in The Bonny Lass, that is exactly what the dragon granted for him.  Quickly the sails billowed out as the ship started to float in the air. Jack seeing these new possibilities and one never to ask questions, soon realized that he could now sail anywhere and was now no longer limited to just the seas!  "Ahoy there yea lubbers, trim those sails!  We have a pirating to do!" he yelled to his crew.
