Finding Crystal...

"I must be a Finder," Arnie told herself but still not fully believing even her own words.  Again she looked at the crystal in the box and shook her head from side to side.  It was then that she heard a voice in her head!
"You have proven yourself true to your friends," the voice told her.  As Arnie looked around to see who may be speaking, it did not take long for her to realize the voice was coming from the crystal!  "How can you speak?" she asked.
The crystal did not move or change, but Arnie again heard the voice in her head.  "I will only speak to you as you are the Finder.  Do not question your worth.  Your friends, all being good people, have their own abilities but they are not aligned with me.  Only by you first being a Borrower, could you be a true Finder."
Arnie glanced at the others and realized that none of them had heard the voice and they were still discussing how to start out in search of the Dream Weaver's cottage --- now that they decided the spoon was indeed the key. As she still watched them, she again heard the voice.  "I will tell you how to find the cottage, but first you must do something to protect yourself in the Dream world."
Picture
"Dreams can be dangerous without some grounding.  Too many people have wandered in their dreams and have not returned back to the reality that is here.  You must be grounded if you are to lead your friends and bring them all back.  There is still a danger that one will be lost in the Dream world and will never return."
This surprised Arnie so much that she blurted out loud her response.  "What must I do?"  Awena turned her head towards Arnie, thinking she was listening to their conversation, and told her not to worry that the Sisters would provide the food and supplies they would need for such a long journey in search of the cottage.
Picture
Arnie was barely listening.  The words of the crystal telling her that one may be lost was making her not want to go in the first place. "I don't want to be responsible for others..." she mumbled to herself as she listened to the rest of the group discussing what supplies they would need for the journey.

Where might it be...

As Arnie, Dulbbe, and Awena were examining the 'spoon' to try and see how it could be the key they were searching for, Roslie and Hazelwyn had quietly stepped aside and were whispering to each other.  "Should we tell them about the book and the vision?" Roslie asked.
Hazelwyn glanced over to look at the others to make sure they were not listening to them.  "I think we should wait until we see what King Dulbbe and the Sleeping Sister tell Arnie first."
"Its not like we are hiding anything.  But I think if we tell them now what happened, they will want to go back to the Village on the Wall's library and see if we can repeat it again.  I feel time is of the essence and we can't afford to waste any time in finding the Dreamweaver's hut."  Roslie nodding her head in agreement thought about it for a second before turning her head and seeing Awena lifting off of the floor and floating to a different shelf than before.  She quickly drifted back down and this time held a wooden chest in her hands.
As the others gathered around her, she waived her hands in a strange circular pattern and the the lock opened, the lid slowly lifted, and a glow shined out. Everyone moved a little closer to see what was inside and soon discovered a large glowing crystal.  "This is a finding crystal.  It only works for a 'true seeker'.  I believe that Arnie may be one," Awena told the others.
Picture
Everyone turned to look at Arnie who looked confused and surprised both at the same time.  "You must be mistaken.  I am a Finder now, but my past of being a Borrower will count against me," she told the others as she shook her head.  "No, I can't be a 'true seeker'."
"Touch the stone and we will know," Awena told Arnie.  Hesitant, Arnie reached out a hand and touched the stone.  Instantly an image appeared in the stone of the Dream Weaver cottage that Hazelwyn and Roslie had seen in their vision.  Awena turned to Hazelwyn and Roslie.  "Is this the same cottage?" she asked.
They did not know what to say other than 'yes' as they both embarrassingly blushed and as Arnie starred at the crystal while Dulbbe stood wondering what he had just missed...

Meeting in Strange Places...

Just as Awena said "I am beginning to think this 'spoon' is the key we are looking for."  A little glimmer shined in Arnie's eyes.  For she was delighted that she could reveal to Awena, Roslie. and Hazelwyn just why they had needed her.
But just as Arnie reached her hand into her pocket, came a bumbling sound, then a loud 'thump' followed by a few choice words seldom heard in the ancient hallow space of the  library of the Sleeping Sisters.
Everyone turned toward the chaotic noise to discover the new Troll King holding several books in his hands, scrolls tucked under his arms, and a few aged tomes at his feet.  Surprised by his unexpected appearance, Awena stepped over to the King and asked, "Your Highness, how can we help you?"
"Oh please, dear lady, you can just call me Dulbbe as I am still a scribe at heart," replied the Troll King.
With a gentle smile and a wave of her hand, Awena proceeded to cause the scrolls and books - both fallen and in his hands - to float to the nearby tables in the library where they organized themselves neatly. "Then Dulbbe, how can we  help you?" Awena asked again.  "I am here actually helping Arnie," Dulbbe replied.
A surprised look appeared on everyone's face as they all turned to look at Arnie. "You are?" Arnie confusedly asked.
"Yes, Arnie.  Drat told me about the mission Dree gave you when he turned into the Monacle Dragon," Dulbbe replied.  "Drat told me, like the loyal minnon that he is, on how you are to finish the last request of Dree's.  That somehow the quest is tied in with a favor that is suppose to give the Gooblin King his greatest desire," Dulbbe continued.
"Well, Drat is suppose to be helping me," said Arnie.  "Not the king of the Trolls," said the exasperated Finder before she remembered whom she was talking to and quickly added "your majesty."
"Yes, yes, I know that but I couldn't resist finding out what will be the Gooblin King's greatest desire," answered Dulbbe.  "Plus I love the digging around in old books looking for clues as to what that desire might be.  He has had so many while competing with the old Troll King.  While I am researching, I have Drat checking out all the alleys and byways which is his specialty.  Afterall, I was the king's scribe long before I became King myself."
"But what are you doing here Arnie?  Shouldn't you be out looking for clues for Dree's mission?" asked the Troll King.  "I am," answered Arnie defending herself. "Or at least I was until Roslie and Hazelwyn said they needed me in 'finding' a key.  Now that I am a Finder, I just had to help them.  But I also don't believe in coincidence.  Meeting you here Dulbbe in this strange place, reminded me of Dree's request, just as I found out that the 'key' I am looking for is the same key-spoon or spoon-key or whatever that is needed for finding the Dreamweavers," as Arnie threw up her hands in bewilderment.
Picture
Everyone watched Arnie as she then reached into one of her many pockets and pulled something out of it.  "Which happens to be the spoon I have right here in my hand.  Now the real question is, does all of this searching somehow relate to both quests?"

Borrower Be...

Picture
Arnie was happy with her life now that she chose to be a Finder instead of a Borrower.

Looking back though, she realized she had not only changed her own destiny but also her clan of the Borrowers as well.  How?  To understand that, one had to look at what it meant to be a Borrower and how they weren't necessarily invited  to that many social gatherings, not if you wanted to keep the family silver and any other trade-able items.
So what is a Borrower? The Borrowers were tales you scared the children into behaving or heard about when people got together to share spooky stories.  The Borrowers have always been able to go back and forth between the Shadows and the Villagers, but they also can go into the other "domain" where the Outies rule.  Even with all of this traveling, few have ever really seen one.  Oh, they were talked about and people know they are real, but what they look like was mostly a mystery.
That was until Arnie showed up in the year of 2021 before the Great Moon Dragon appeared.
Borrowers are often mistaken for Gremblins. I mean who else takes the sock out of the dryer or moves the glasses or keys when one knew just where they had left them.  But remember, a Borrower always replaces what they 'borrow' with something else or they return it if another thing catches their eye before they move on.  The thrill of the 'borrow' is being able to find a way in and out without anyone else knowing (that and maybe having someone else blamed - that is considered the perfect 'borrow' to a Borrower).
Picture
Now days Arnie can still be attracted to the bling, but it is helping her new found friends find missing things that really gives her a thrill.  But how did this young Borrower also change the destiny of her clan?
Picture
By finding some mysterious Dragon tablet which drew the attention of the organization called COG (Cooperation of Organized Grunts).  For nothing is worse that getting caught in the crosshairs of those that are the true power behind the Power.

The Key...

After floating to the upper levels of the scrolls and books in the library of the Sleeping Sisters, Awena returned to where Arnie, Roslie, and Hazelwyn watched her in awe.
As Awena opened her hands, the scroll floated in the air and began to unroll. All could see that the scroll was indeed very old with interesting lines drawn on it.  "By the Ogham letters I can tell that this is one of our founding sister's scrolls," said Awena.  "I recognize some of the tree symbols that are on it."
"This is an very ancient scroll," she continued, "that takes us back to the very beginning of when our Realms were created.  This isn't the first time the Old Passage doorway has been open either."  As the others looked at her in confusion, she explained, "This is the doorway that leads to the Wandering Woods and the home of the Ancient Oak Tree.  It was a Full moon then though, but with it being a Blue Full Moon now is why I feel the call of magick is so much stronger."
"That is interesting about the Ogham letters as I have seen them on a spoon recently," said Roslie.  "But does your scroll tell us where the key is to the Dreamweaver's hut?" she asked.
"Is that the same spoon that came out of the Bag of Possibilities that Meerher and E'luminosity of the Moonies gave to the young Moon Dragon?" asked Hazelwyn. "If I remember right it was instrumental in helping to save those in the World of Whispers and also frighten off that old baddie of a Dragon Queen, Siate'.  I am sure I read about that in one of Snoop's editions of the Bellwether newspaper."
Picture
"I am beginning to think this 'spoon' is the key we are looking for," said Awena.  "Now the question is, does the Moon Dragon still have it now that he has transformed into the Monacle?"
With that question, Arnie raised her head from looking at the scroll and gave a small smile.  She thought to herself, "I do love this new job of being a Finder instead of a Borrower."

It didn't take long for Arnie, Roslie, and Hazelwyn to arrive at the tree house that was the home of the Sleeping Sisters and were surprised to find Awena already waiting for them at the door.
As Awena ushered her guests inside, Hazelwyn tried to explain her mysterious experience and the vision she had about the Dreamweaver.  As Arnie watched the Sister, she felt that Awena was not really surprised about Hazelwyn's experience.
"She acts like she already knows why we are here," muttered Arnie to herself as she followed the others down a long hallway.
"I thought that Dreamweavers were just an old faery tale that was told to the young," finished Hazelwyn as she followed closely behind Awena.
"Oh no," replied the Sleeping Sister.  "They are actually a part of our very foundation at the Sisterhood."
Awena then opened a door at the end of the hall and entered with the weary travelers following.  It was the library of the Sisters.  Without explanation, Awena took a deep breath and focused her energy to find the scroll that would help the other understand why the Dreamweaver's story was resurfacing.  Slowly, she floated upward to reach the most important and ancients scrolls locked away high up in the remote book shelves.
With their eyes opening in awe and surprise, Arnie leaned over to Roslie and whispered in her ear, " She's good!  I didn't know she could do that even if she is a mystic.  Being able to do that would have helped me in my former career."
Roslie nodded her head and whispered back, "It might be a good thing she is so talented as we might be needing her more than I thought.  If we are to understand what is happening with these strange visions and still needing a "key" to some unknown hut, coming here first seems to have been the right thing to do."

Once in a...

Hazelwyn quickly left Snoop's office and started towards the local library.
"Oh darn, I am really going to miss out on those crumpets, aren't I? But to write a story like this about Dream Weavers is a once in a lifetime opportunity," Hazelwyn muttered to herself.
Re-adjusting her shoulder bag across her shoulders she continued her trek over to the Village's library.  She  knew what she was looking for was going to be in the very restricted area.
After climbing up all the stairs to get the upper floor to the Restricted Area, she still had to get through the huge locked iron doors.  With a wave of her hand (and a little help of a pixie's key from a Borrower) she quickly opened the gates.  "Sure is helpful knowing a former Borrower.  They are the best source for finding those hard to locate keys.  Course it's helpful too knowing that Arnie likes a crumpet now and then too," smiled Hazelwyn as she continued down a hallway towards the oldest books in the back of the library.
"Why, oh why, do they always have these precious books sitting in the dark?" Hazelwyn grumbled.  "I would think the library's magical budget could afford some special lighting back here.  Afterall, these books need to feel still wanted and not ignored."
With that thought, Hazelwyn came around the corner and found the book she was looking for.  There was a slight "pull" when she reached for the book.  The feeling was like her hand had been asleep and was just now getting that tingley feeling back into it.
Picture
Picture
Ever so gently Hazelwyn picked up the ancient book, gliding her hand over the cover and proceeded to open it.
The magical energy of the book tried to pix-late Hazelwyn in protection.  When Hazelwyn felt this confusion and sense of being lost, she knew she needed to concentrate harder to succeed in finding what she wanted. "Oh, what I would give now for a Sugar Plum crumpet and a hot cup of tea!" she said in frustration.  "They would surely help me focus on my job here."
Just when Hazelwyn was about to give up, the book revealed just what she was looking for, Hag the first Dream Weaver. "I am really going to need my crumpet now," Hazelwyn thought to herself.  "I wonder if I can bribe a library clerk to do a run for me?" she murmured to herself as she took the ancient book and set it down on a table in the room so she could see what she had in her bag to bribe a clerk with.

The Torch passes...

With those words Dree asked, "Monacle, would I be able to take your place?" "Dree!  What are you doing?" Arnie cried.  Dree did not turn to look at his friend.  His eyes stayed locked on the Monacle.  A long silence continued as they stared at each other before finally the older Dragon answered.
"It is not what I had wanted when I first started watching over you, but yes, you would be able to take my place," and after answering, the Monacle could no longer look into Dree's eyes and lowered his head.
Again Arnie tried to jump into the conversation but before she could, Meerher took the Finder by the hand and whispered into her ear.  "Arnie, I know you are trying to help Dree, but this is something he must decide for himself.  All of the Realms depend upon his choice for he is the only one we have found who can save the magic of the Tree."  As Arnie pulled her hand away from the Moonie House Mother, she looked again towards Dree and saw that she was too late.  He had made up his mind already.
"Arnie, you need to go back home now and tell the others I will not be coming back for possibly a long time," Dree told her as he then held out something to the Finder.  "Tell them what I am doing and that I will return if I can."  It was then that Arnie noticed something was happening to the Monacle.  At first it was just a vague feeling, but soon it became more evident... The Monacle was starting to fade away!
Picture
Arnie - The Finder
"Dree," said the Monacle, "I have not much time left here, but I will be with you in your journey.  Come to me and place your forehead to mine."  As Dree approached and their heads touched, he could feel a flow of magic unlike anything he had ever experienced before.  Within seconds it was complete but in those seconds, Dree saw everything that the old Dragon had experienced in it's time.  He watched the first meeting the Dragon had with the Tree, the decision, the making of the Oracle, and even this moment of the transfer from another perspective.  The old Dragon had given his knowledge to Dree!  It would be much later before he would learn that more than knowledge was given that day when Dree asked himself a hypothetical question and another familiar voice answered it...
Picture
When the transfer was complete, Dree found that the old Monacle was gone.  As everyone looked at the spot where the old Dragon had been, it was Ellie who first noticed the change in the Tree!  "Look" she shouted to the others as she pointed to the Tree.
"The branches are leafing again!"  It was true, the places that the branches had looked bare were starting to grow leaves and the rest of the Tree was started to glow a pale green.  The Tree was stronger!  Dree had become the new Monacle of the Tree.
It may have been a trick of the light coming from the renewed Tree, but as Arnie looked again at Dree, it appeared that he also had grown.  His face had changed from being a youthful Dragon to one that looked like it had seen more events than its young years.  Sadly, Arnie thought that this was the last time she would see her friend.  Dree had noticed Arnie's expression but already had decided on a plan that this would not happen.  He was not ready to give up on his friends nor forget them.
Calling the two Moonies to his side, Dree took command.  "Ladies.  As the new Monacle of the Tree, I make you my personal emissaries.  House Mother Meerher, I would like you to stay and discuss with me some of the duties of the Monacle and how the Moonies and I will continue to defend the magic and keep the balance.  E'luminosity, you will guide my friend back to the Realm of Wymsy and show her how to return to here when she needs to.  Your duties will now include being my personal messenger so return when you have completed this task."  Dree then looked directly at his friend, Arnie the Finder.
"Arnie, I need you to do something for me if you will.  We have unfinished business with the Gooblin King and I made a promise to help him.  Will you complete this task for me?"  Arnie had forgotten all about the visit to the Gooblin King and their promise to help him find his greatest desire.  Keeping the tears out of her eyes, Arnie promised that she would.  "You won't have to do this alone.  Let Drat know of my request and also you will meet another who will aid you.  I am giving you this to help in the quest," Dree told her as he passed her the Oracle.  "Oracle, you are to help Arnie and her friends until such time as you return to me.  Is that understood?"
"Master?  Are we to be separated again?" asked the Oracle so that only Dree heard the question.  The new Monacle smiled.  "No, you will be able to talk to me no matter where you are located this time so that you can tell me what is happening in your adventures."  With that answer, the Oracle again felt something it could not define but liked how it felt.  "We will be together again," it told itself.
As Dree gave Arnie the Oracle, he also gave the Finder the wooden spoon that had been a gift from the Bag of Possibilities.  "As the spoon was given to me, I am now giving it to you.  This spoon originally came from the Tree.  With it you will be able to communicate to me in the presence of any of the great trees in all of the Realms.  Simply touch the spoon to a tree and I will be able to hear and speak with you.  The spoon has other magical properties, but you will learn of those when the need arises."
Picture
Soon it was time for Arnie to return to the Realm and tell the others what Dree had done, but before leaving, she gave the new Monacle and her friend a long hug with a promise to return every time that she could.  As she was leaving, Dree started to laugh.  "Wait Arnie.  Before you go, I just heard a new joke that I want you to tell Drat when you see him..."

Thinking...

Picture
"Fading away!" exclaimed Dree.  "But I have so many questions and had hoped to have long talks with you about being a Moon Dragon."  The Monacle sadly smiled as he spoke.  "I am old Dree.  Part of me doesn't want to go, but part of me wants to see what the adventure will be when I do.  Everything goes through a cycle and Dragons are no different.  Even the 'Outies' know that energy never goes away, it just changes into a new form.  I am ready to see how that works."
Dree hung his head in sadness as he realized that he was going to lose someone that he was already considering as 'family'.  Using his Dragon speak, Dree asked the Monacle something so the others could not hear, "Is there anything I can do to help you?  I don't want to leave you now."
"My regret is that when I fade, the Tree will perish and then magic will disappear across the realms.  I hate to think that I failed in keeping the magic alive," answered the Monacle.  As Dree and the ancient Moon Dragon were Dragon speaking to each other, Arnie noticed in the silence that Dree was looking like when he would talk to the Oracle when no one else could hear it speak.  "He must be wanting some privacy," she realized as she decided to give him that privacy.  "Meerher.  Can you and Ellie show me more of the Tree?  I would like to see the other side."
The Monacle smiled again as Arnie led the Moonies away from him and Dree.  "You are fortunate to have such good friends," he told Dree as they watched the others starting their long walk around the Tree.  "It will take them a little while to go around the tree and I am sure Arnie will ask them all sorts of questions to keep them busy."
Dree had been contemplating what the Monacle had said about magic disappearing and realized that was what had called him in the first place.  "You said that once you fade, the Tree will die and magic will disappear.  That is why you stayed.  To save the magic.  Would the realms be worse off if the magic disappeared?"
The Monacle suddenly looked very sad.  "Yes, that is why I came.  At first I thought I would be able to fix everything and the magic would stay.  But it was vain and foolish of me.  The Tree is the real magic.  It's roots spread to each of the realms and the magic flows from it.  If magic dies, Dragons become only lizards.  Wishes remain only desires and hopes.  Many of the magical creatures that you know will no longer exist or will become mundane.  Sameness will become the norm and being different will make others jealous or feel superior.  Things would survive, but hope and dreams will not be as powerful as they can be."
Dree stood for a moment in thought.  Slowly he started to speak.  "I don't want to see the magic leave," he said.  "I don't know the other Dragons, but I don't want them to lose their magic and be less than they could be.  This goes for all of my friends.  If everyone loses that touch of magic that each possess, the realms will all become a little more gray and colorless.  Isn't there something we can do?"
If a Dragon could shrink up into itself, then that is when the Monacle did it.
Picture
This was the question he had both hoped Dree would ask but knew he could never ask of it himself.  "I am sorry Dree, but there is only one way for it to not happen.  A new Moon Dragon must be found to replace me.  Only a Moon Dragon has the power and ability to maintain the Tree."  As the shock of what the Monacle was saying sank into Dree, the Monacle continued.  "I did not ask the Moonies to bring you here.  I knew where you were from watching you since you were a wee dragnet.  What you had become may have been the magic setting things in motion but I did not tell the Moonies because I knew they would try and convince you to take my place."
As Dree stared at the Monacle, he realized that a decision must be made.  "Again you remind me that you can only start the path, it is my decision where to tread.  Do I stay or do I go are the real choices I have aren't they?"
The Monacle sadly swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat as he nodded his head.  "How long do I have to decide?" asked Dree.
With a tear in it's eye the Monacle answered.  "We will not meet again in this form."  It was then that Arnie and the others appeared from their journey around the tree.  "Dree, the Tree is huge but it doesn't look well.  Its like it needs a good trimming," said Arnie.  It was with those words that Dree made his offer.  "Monacle, would I be able to take your place?"

The Tree...

Picture
As the group approached the Tree and Monacle, Arnie noticed that while the others were watching the Dragon laying next to the Tree -- her "finder's" attention was pulled more towards the Tree.  Yes, the Dragon looked ancient, but the giant tree looked even more so!  "I have never seen a tree like it before," thought Arnie.  "The only one that looks even close to it was the great Oak Tree near the Sleeping Sisters."  Arnie was soon to find out that her comparison was more accurate than she knew...
As Dree approached the other Dragon, he realized that he would have to be the one to start this conversation as this majestic Dragon appeared to be sleeping with it's great tail wrapped around the base of the Tree.  "Greetings Clansman.  May we have a moment of your time?" he asked.
A smile appeared on the large Moon Dragon, and slowly he opened his eyes and stared at each of his visitors one by one as he answered.  "Welcome Drai’ochtluan, or may I call you Dree?  And it is always nice to see you too, House Mother Meerher.  I see that you have a new Moonie with you too.  E'luminosity isn't it?  I have never met a Borrower turned Finder before Arnie, but I can see that your new profession suites you  well.  I have been waiting for your arrivals and would enjoy this opportunity to meet all of you for we have much to discuss and decisions to be made."
After the initial shock of hearing her name, Arnie then realized that she never saw the Monacle speak but she knew that she had heard him plainly!  It was then that the ancient Moon Dragon laughed. This time she saw him talking.  "I am sorry Arnie, it has been long since I have had visitors that I have to remind myself that not everything uses mind-speak.  Does this way make you feel more comfortable?"
Nodding her head, the Dragon continued as he now looked at Dree.  "Welcome Clansman.  I have greeted the others, but I sense that you have something of mine that I would also like to say hello to.  May I see her?"
At first Dree was confused of who the ancient Dragon was referring to.  It was then the voice said "Master?" that only Dree and the Monacle could hear.  That made Dree realize who and what the ancient Dragon was referring to.  "Master, huh?"  Dree opened the small pouch that he carried and showed the Oracle to the Monacle.  "Greetings Oracle.  It has been a long time," said the Monacle for all to hear.
Picture
"Master!  Is that you?" the Oracle excitely and slightly confused asked.  "How can there be two of you?"
Again, the Monacle laughed.  "There is only one of me but there are now two Moon Dragons.  I made you to answer to a Moon Dragon, Oracle.  Something I did not think about then, but it appears to have worked out for the better this way."  As Dree offered to return the Oracle to it's rightful owner, the Monacle shook his head and refused.  "You and Arnie will be needing it soon" was all he would say.
For a while all of them sat around the Tree as the Monacle told Dree and the others his story of how he had came there and what he had been doing all of this time.  As they listened, it was Arnie who noticed something about the Tree.
It began with her noticing that some small branches were leafless and in some cases dry and brittle.  "The Tree is going to die!" realized Arnie.  It was when this thought came to her that she also realized that the Monacle had quit talking and was looking directly at her.
"Yes, Arnie.  The Tree is dying as I begin to fade.  It must have a guardian to help protect it or the ills of all of the realms will overwhelm it.  That was why I came here those many years ago to become the Monacle to keep magic in the realms."
Picture
"Without the Tree, magic will wither and no longer be what it once was and is.  The Tree has given me a longer life than what is normal for a Dragon.  It has also given me the opportunity to gather great knowledge and see into each of the many realms.  Since the day I left the Oracle behind and told her to record what has happened in my absence, I have never regretted my decision to stay and guard the Tree."
"But don't you get lonely?" asked Arnie?  "A Borrower is usually a loner, but we don't usually sit by ourselves in the middle of nowhere under a tree."  Again, the Dragon smiled.  "The Moonies visit me often as they are my helpers.  They assist with maintaining the balance in the realms.  The magic that the Tree freely gives also flows through me. Because of that I am able to travel everywhere in the realms to watch over things and still stay here to be the Guardian.  But I am not omnificent. I can only see what occurs where I mind-travel, and I can make some small changes here and there  just like our friend, Dree for an example."
This made everyone turn to look first at Dree and then back to the Monacle.  "I once loved a powerful Moon Dragon before I left the Realm of Wymsy to be here.  She was a white crystal Moon Dragon who has since faded but before she left, a single Dragon egg was produced and hidden in a cave to one day be hatched.  She also left a single tear for that Dragonet as it would someday need."

"You Dree are that hatchling.  It was not long ago I found the egg and picked a young Fae to discover you as well as sent a Brownie to look over you."
The flash of anger that appeared over Dree's face surprised Arnie.  She had never seen Dree mad and she hoped never to see it again.  It scared her!  With a growl in his voice Dree spoke to the Monacle.  "Are you saying that everything that has happened to me and my friends has been because of you!"
As the Monacle shook it's head, sadly it answered.  "No, I only could start your path, each of us must make our paths.  What you and the others have done has been your own choices.  I only gave you the opportunity as I have watched over you.  As a Moon Dragon, something I learned a long time ago is that Sunlight may banish the Darkness away, but Moonlight is the Light in the Darkness.  You needed the opportunity to become what you are for soon you will  be the only Moon Dragon left as I am fading away."

    Greetings

Welcome to my blog.  This is where I will reveal the magic of my Fae and their stories and share with you some of the success and pitfalls through  the journey of doll making, sculpting, and other crafts that all come back to my dolls in many ways.

May you find some small treasure that will enhance your world... welcome to mine!

The Realm of Wymsy is an original storyline created by Shawn & Lesley Duthie.
