"So typical!" Rose replied. "Only in a magical world can you one minute be washing clothes and in the next second be whooshed away and looking at copies of me!" Rose, ever practical, decided immediately that since she wouldn't get an answer from her 'helping hands', she would try to figure out where she was. Everywhere she looked, all she could see were shades of white. "Glistening white and rocks, so typical!" she mumbled to herself as she turned to look in all directions. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that her other two selves did the same thing. As she was turning, Rose did notice something different a little ways away. ""There!" Rose pointed with a finger. "Do you see it?" Rose asked as she started off in its direction with the other two following her. "It was something with color." Soon she was bending down and picking up the strange looking object. It was pink and had buttons on it. "I wonder what this is?" she said aloud. It surprised her when Roslie answered.
"This is strange," Rose thought. "I must be under a spell or something and all of this is a dream." Dream or not, she knew she needed to keep moving forward if any of them where going to find their way home. "Do either of you, Rosie or Roslie, know how to use this 'teli-pone'?" Rose asked. Rosie with a quiver of anxiety to her voice answered first this time. "You must push the buttons in just the right order. When you get it correct, someone else will be able to hear you if you talk to it and you will be able to hear them. But if you don't get the right numbers, all you will hear is a beep-beep-beep sound before this spooky voice says 'You have reached a number no longer available. Try again!' and then it sucks you in to hitting all the numbers again." As Rosie finished, Roslie nodded her head in agreement.
Rose would just have to be brave enough to give it a try. She took a deep breath and letting it out slowly to center herself, she started to reach out a finger to push the first button when she saw the green light flashing on this pink gadget. 'LOW POWER - RECHARGE' was flashing on it. "So typical!" Rose grumbled.
