Workshop Description: This is a 5-hour course to create Nunofelt fabric with wool and silk fibers using the water felting technique. Nunofelting is the union of wool with other fabrics or fibers to create a new, very light, very textured, and very bright fabric, ideal for skirts, coats, cloaks, dresses, scarves and doll hats. Who is it aimed at: everyone, even those who have never worked with water-based felt. Each participant will make 3 fabric samples based on their own taste, exploring the union of silk, fabrics, and gauze with wool.
Class Supplies: Materials provided by the instructor are tools, handouts, templates, wool, fibers, and fabrics which are included in the cost of the workshop. Students are asked to bring an apron and two towels.
Class will be available in both Italian and English.
As the convention will be held in Italy - fees have been converted from Euros to U.S. Dollars for the purposes of payment on this site.
