IADR 2025 Convention Workshop - "Create a Cold Porcelain Gothic Themed Hall Bust Picture" by Angela Rinaldi
Workshop Description: In this 5 hour workshop, cold porcelain processing techniques will be taught. Students will model by hand, without using molds, the face and the bust. We will make the hairstyle and clothes and the instructor will illustrate the various decoration techniques with watercolor pencils and pigments. Students can mount the hall-length bust on a picture of you choice or the provided pictures by the instructor to take away your work.
Class Supplies: The student will be provided with everything necessary to carry out the project which includes the cold porcelain, picture, and the necessary colors. The student will only have to bring the usual modeling tools.
The course is in Italian but we could make use of a translator (a natural person or technological support) and be able to communicate in English too.
As the convention will be held in Italy - fees have been converted from Euros to U.S. Dollars for the purposes of payment on this site.
