Satyrs are enigmatic and mysterious because they have a hoof in both worlds. Like all Water types, they are deeply sensitive and greatly affected by the environment, both social and physical. They are extremely perceptive and insightful. They are not only aware of their own dark selves, they can recognize the dark side of other people and are consequently aware of our shared humanity. They are in keeping with their mythical namesake, very interested in the natural world and its protection. They also love to commune with nature, especially in woods and near water.
The Water and Earth combination makes Satyrs both deeply imaginative and highly practical, so they tend to be creative, especially with respect to physical art forms such as dance and sculpture. Their delight in the physical can also make them excellent cooks, while their earthiness can make them keen gardeners. They may combine the two interest and grow their own food or develop an interest in herbalism.
