“Hi Hungry. Whataa-cha doing? I am bored! So I am out looking for something fun to do and wondered if you wanted to come with me.”
“I am a little busy right now,” said Hungry.
“You're just sitting there on a rock. How is that being busy?”
“Hungry, is that grumbling your stomach? If we go play with the frogs at the Frog Pond then you won't think about your stomach.” Meen continues before he can answer her question, “As long as we avoid the Moon Flowers, we won’t have any problems.”
Instantly Hungry’s eyes lit up… ”Moon Flowers? There are Moon Flowers by the Frog Pond?”
“Your right. That does sounds like fun,” replies Hungry. “Let’s go!” In the time it took Hungry to jump off of the rock they were out of the caves and heading to the Frog Pond in the Shadows’ Realm.
Meen, not hearing his reply, is already off to see if she can leap over the frog before it is aware she is there. As Meen is sneaking up on the frog, the little Pyksee is unaware that Hungry has different entertainment in mind.
“Moon Flowers… and as many as I want,” Hungry thought to himself as he smiles and picks one. Slowly he licks it and then, because his stomach started to growl again, he quickly stuffs it in his mouth.
"And what do we have here?" asks a voice. Hungry turns around and sees a Fae with a red cap staring at him.
"My name is Hungry and I am a secret," he tells the Fae. "Who are you?"
"I am Scarlet and the King's Farrier for the Nytemares and you are eating their food," replies Scarlet. "Don't you feel sleepy?"
"No," replies Hungry. "Just my stomach is not feeling so good. I think I ate too many because they don't grow where I live."
"I take it you are not from around here then," Scarlet chuckles. Picking up his bucket and the bag he had been carrying, he tells the little Dragon, "Come along, and bring that frog hopping little Pyksee with you and we will head to the castle."
