My little "Honey Bee"

So while Cornelia is away and Nemmer has his nose buried in the latest issue of "Arrows are Us - The Golden Guild Guide Book"... let's take a peek at a special secret recipe of hers.

Once the chocolate sauce is melted and the vanilla is added... spoon a small amount into the mini-muffin/candy pan. Note to self -- line pan with liners. Then set the pan into the freezer for about 10 minutes.

In the meantime, mix up the ingredients for the peanut butter center. No cooking involved there... just mixing it up in a bowl.

Pull the pan out of the freezer and then place a layer of the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate.

A few minutes in the freezer might help keep the chocolate that is the top layer from blending with the peanut butter level or leave a bigger space to add more chocolate to top it off with. Either way, place the final layer of the chocolate sauce on top and then place in the freezer for a good hour (I did mine overnight).

The buzz is that they are pretty easy to make. Plus they are gluten free and dairy free (though they do have peanuts). Almond butter could be substituted. Also I did put a pinch of vanilla in with the peanut butter mixture just because I always do *smiling*... Enjoy this little honey sweet.

“You do know The CAT is my cat," Efem purred teasingly at her sister.

"What do you mean The CAT is your cat? He is MY cat,” Cornelia told her.

“I am pretty sure he spends more time at my place than yours," smiled Efem. "After all, it is the Catnip Juiceberry cookies that I bake especially for him that is his favorite food.” Efem knew that Cornelia liked to think of herself as a good cook and being her younger sister, she also knew the ‘buttons’ to push. Oh, how Efem loved to tease her older sister and get her flustered “… come on Corn-e-e-y, admit it... even you like my catnip juiceberry cookies that I make."

Now, nobody called Cornelia ‘Corny’. Everyone knew that she preferred her name or she let slide a Neelya or even Nellie for a nickname - except it seemed, her sister who started calling her Corny almost as soon as she could walk and talk.

There had to be a special place in the Dark Troll Grotto for sisters who knew just enough on how to be annoying – but as she was family, she just had to keep her... Cornelia lovingly sighed.

Oh... and she loved her younger sister but younger sisters can be such saplings. If Cornelia hadn't been there when Efem had been born, she would have sworn that the Tree Nymphs had switched her with a Changeling. As if being called ‘Corny’ wasn't bad enough, Efem also had to needle her about her cooking - some things are too much!

“Well, without MY special blend of honey to go in YOUR juiceberry, your cookies would taste pretty sour,” said Cornelia. "See Baby Sister, you still need me." Getting a twinkle in her eyes, Cornelia smiled, figuring that she had won this round of word battle (even if neither one kept score). Keeping the smile on her face, she awaited Efem’s response.

If bad timing can be considered an art form then Nemmer had the art down to perfection. For everyone knew that one never came between the two sisters when they were having one of their 'discussions'. Even as a Golden Arrow in the Elfshot Guild his aim was way off the mark for choosing this minute to be walking into the cottage. “The CAT is getting into the hives outside, Cornelia. Again!" Looking at Efem he continued, "You are taking him with you when you leave, right?”

Hearing this Efem lit up and replied, "Yes, I am taking My cat with me." Smiling to herself because Nemmer did not even realize that he helped save her and 'win' this round. She knew that both Cornelia and her loved these little sisters' discussions for no one knew her better than her sister and that their love for each other ran very root deep.
