It was while she was meandering through the bushes on the winding path that she met Granny Flare, the house brownie. The Goodie sisters had heard of Granny Flare, as she was one of the first to find the little Wish Dragon, but had never met her. The sun was warm that day and though Goodie4U was thrilled just to finally meet Granny Flare, she also realized that Granny just might be the one to help her with her dilemma. "Granny, I don't believe in just happenstance. I came across you for a reason. Do you mind sitting here with me while I explain my problem?" Granny looked into the Goodie's eyes and replied, "Fill up your basket a little more with the berries and I'll stir us up some tea." As Goodie4U did as she was told while Granny looked for a clear spot of ground for them to sit, Granny continued, "For this sounds like it going to take more than just a shake of a fuzz bunny tail to hear this problem." Shortly the two were sitting down on the soft grass and enjoying their berries and tea (for house brownies never leave home without their tea supplies) Goodie4U went on to explain her situation to Granny. "See the real problem is that I need to be able to be in two places at once. I have seen a vision where I need to be in the 'Outie' realm while still being here to help my sisters. Even with my magic that ability isn't something any of us Goodies were born being able to do. I just don't know what to do."
"You may feel at times that you are being pulled in different directions," Granny said. "But if you listen well to me, you'll be fine as I use it all the time to check up on the Outies. For what happens in their Realm also affects ours." Goodie4U did listened well to Granny Flare and did just as she said. Soon Goodie4U was a seasoned traveler and was able to portal to the Realm of the Outies and as needed, able to quickly pop back into the Realm of Wymsy to help her sisters as needed. Especially for when she was needed to have that cake baked which was only one of many close calls! Now Goodie4U is back in the Outie realm. She has delayed the Outie from pulling her together in several ways in order to see if her vision is true about the dragons showing up there first. For if they show up in the Outie realm, then it would be just a matter of a magical twitch of a witch's nose before they returned to the Realm of Wymsy.

She walked into the store, this American, and looked around. In all the things in the store that was shouting to get her attention, she only heard me. She couldn't resist my magnificent appeal. She and the shop owner exchanged energy (money) which allowed me to come home with her. The energy of American isn't as old and has a different flavor to it then what I was used too. But it was a palette that I could still get accustomed to as this lady believed in dragons and the magic of fairytales.
No gremlins or goblins got past me! Often I could hear her say how glad she was to have a dragon in her home. But as any mage will tell you that a seventh year will always invoke the Energy of Change. This is when my lady came to me with her crisis but I was ready. For the energy in the house had shifted and I felt a new calling. My lady removed me from my tiny nook of the world and asked me if I was willing to change for her? It did require me leaving my safe place but I was needed to watch over a new place and that if I took the request- a safe spot would be created just for me. The transformation to my new Dragon Grotto isn't totally complete yet, but I do believe I will settle in nicely in my new place. The magic feels right and I can even let off steam once in a while too.
As I have mentioned I am redoing my bathroom, no biggie as remodeling is often done and it is considered an upgrade. In our case we are trying to make our home more age awareness especially after my surgery a little more than a year ago that brought Age knocking on my door. "You're not getting any younger Sweetie," says Age, "and if you want to stay safely in your house, you better make some changes."
When we bought our house it had purple tile on the wall. Yippee! I was on my way to having a my childhood dream come true. But Age has a way of making changes whether you want too or not. For example, the bathtub was well over 30 years old at least and had to go for many reasons, but I thought I should be able to keep the purple tiling. We could work around it and still "upgrade" to a shower and seat. Alas not to be! As the new contractors were taking out the tub and prepping the room, we discovered that the old builders weren't too bright. Several bulbs missing in fact since apparently they had put my purple tile in the shower right on sheet rock. No moisture preventative behind it let alone stability. It's a miracle it has lasted as long as it has. Now what to do! With living in a small town there isn't many choices and I can definitely tell you I am not a big fan of black nor white. But the part that hit me the most was that I was loosing my dream. My fabulous purple bathroom was to be no more. I know it is childish to feel this way but in some ways it was my magical spa for so many reasons which fed my soul. How does one let go of a dream? First we made a mad dash into town (in the middle of a snow storm) to see what Fate had in store for me. Fate can be very fickle you know. By the time we also decided we needed to see what the stores had to offer since ordering anything wasn't an option (not going down that road of being without a bathroom for months again when the downstairs bathroom was torn up for almost a year!). It was already late in the day, but we managed to get to the store before it closed. Remember what I said about Fate being fickle? We found some stone that would work in the bathroom but it was a close out special. Meaning we only could get a 1/3 of the amount we needed. So dashing off to another store I came up with a hair brain idea (which so many of mine are *lol* but my husband still calls them 'magical inspirations') and found something to go with this other stone we bought.
As Goodie4U would say, " With a pinch of magic in the batter, anything is possible".
With Hungry (oops - I mean Drai'ochtluan or 'Dree' to his friends) going through his metamorphosis and some of the Fae off to another dimension, there is all that chaos as well where no one is saying much yet. Then add to that I knew I needed a new Dragon since Dree (the new Moon Dragon) is hard to talk about until we know more about how he has changed and if I can't see him myself *lol* then it is difficult as to what he looks like? So yes, I started a new needlefelting character but again, he isn't ready to totally reveal himself either. So that just leaves me *lol*. It has been a while since I have popped in here to talk about myself and my journey, and with so many wonderful new followers I thought it might be the time to reintroduce myself. If you have read my bio you then know that my dollmaking adventures started because of my mother. It was a way to stay connected with her and celebrate the magic she brought into my life as she passed away into a new dimension herself. Though never realizing how the "curse" she placed on me by saying "Never buy what you can make yourself" would affect my journey *lol*. That is how I got into making my first doll instead of just buying mass-produced dolls. The special elements I can do by making my own - like one of my dolls having the hair of my four sons on it (for who saves more than a small clipping of hair - *smiling*). Dollmaking is a way to bridge the gap of showing off the elements of history that I have acquired over the years and then displaying them in a way I can enjoy looking at them all year long.
I don't know what will pop up as I never remember what I planted in the garden in the first place *lol*. But it is exciting to see what manifests by Summer's end. So yes, right now the energy is sleeping in a few more weeks and then Spring will burst forth in all her glory... if you call all the browns and greys until she shows up in all of her glory *smiling*.
"Something always seems to happen to my friends and it's because of me," the Dragon sniffled. "Even my Spite (The CAT) was taken," he cried silently to himself. "I should leave but where would I go?" the Dragon was thinking just before the tingling came over him. Just like Ffion, the tingling started in his claws but was soon spreading over his entire body. "What is this?" he thought. Was it something else that would take away another one of his friends? Almost as soon as it started, the tingling stopped and the Dragon was himself again. "I need to be going now before something else happens," he told himself and started for the doors. He had only taken a couple of steps before he was blocked by the Goodie sisters. They had been watching him as if they already knew that he was going to leave. "Excuse me," he said as he tried to get around one of them to leave, but they kept finding some way to always be in front of him.
Releasing the Dragon's paw, Goodie4U continued where her sister left off. "The prophecy told of two outcomes. One for good and the other for evil. The sacrifice of magic from a Nyte Shade was what was required for the mixture (transformation) to be complete. Your father offered himself when we thought it would be from you, but in doing so, he also gave both you and Hungry (his old self) a great gift." As Goodie4U paused, Goodie2shues continued. "You and Hungry have been magically joined just as a dragon was when a Nyte Shade sacrificed her powers to her friend. This is what created the first magical Dragon. We were not sure at first if the ingredients would mix (the joining), but when we saw both of you a few minutes ago surrounded by the blue aura, we knew it had happened." Before the Queen or the Newborn Dragon could ask what it all meant, Goodiegood again spoke. "My Queen, as both you and the Dragon's powers grow you will both find that future events will need the two of you jelling together. What those events will be, we cannot say," as she looked at both Ffion and the Dragon, " but you also both share the magical powers of the moonflowers." Now they were even more confused than before!!! "We really don't understand what you just said," started the Dragon, but before he could finish the sentence Ffion did. "What you are telling us is that we are magically joined?" finishing the sentence. Startled, the Queen and the Dragon looked at each other. As one started to speak, the other would either nod their head yes or no. Each one knew what the other would say.
Realizing that another crisis was over, the Goodie sisters smiled at each other and started leaving to return to their cottage. Before they could get to the door, this time the Dragon stopped them. "Before you go, can you at least tell me what happened to me? What am I?" he asked the sisters. "Why you are one of the most powerful Dragons ever known. Your transformation has changed you from being just a Wish Dragon but to a Moon Dragon," Goodiegood told him. "As Hunter told you that if you ate the blue rose you would no longer be 'hungry'. He did not mean that you would not want to eat, he meant that you will change and become someone greater. You are now Drai'ochtluan (pronounced - dree-ach-loo-am), the Magic Moon." "Cool!" replied the Dragon, "but I think I like to be just Dree to my friends", winking at the sisters and Ffion.
