Cat up a Tree...

​​Have you ever had to get a cat out of tree? Luckily I haven't, but I have heard enough stories about them being stuck in a tree.  When I thought about it, I knew that Efem needed such a furry "friend".

​Plus I saw this cute, cheeky cartoon cat and was kind of challenged to try to capture it (thanks Snobbies, Snobbies, Snobbies).  So here I am, trying my hand at needle-felting a feline for Efem.

​ As I started, I soon realized that before I became too caught-up on the face, I had better put the head on a body. 

Efem has been keeping me busy.  First with her outfit and hair, and now her feline friend.

Surprisingly, with all of Efem's aspects being brought to light - her tree mother outfit, her glowing hairpiece, and now the feline magical energy - this doll creator (like the cat) knows no leap is too far to take when being out on a limb for my sweet tree dryad.
