Dark, Light & Moonflowers...

The Winter Solstice was drawing near.  A time of letting go the shadows and looking forward to the light. But would Goodiegood really be ready for the changes that could possibly be happening?  According to Efem, a Tree Mother she met at the dinner gathering, this solstice's energy from the sounds of it was going to be bigger than normal. Everyone had kept discussing what things could happen at the dinner that Goodiegood and her sisters had been invited to by Parsley's, the herbalist, at her home.  A message was even being sent back to the Dowager, who the sisters had yet to meet, to warn her too. 

Now with the sisters back home, Goodie2shues was running off to check the snail mail for her latest shoe order while Goodie4u buried her nose into a book in the hopes of finding some answers.  This allowed Goodiegood to have some time alone to clear her head. 

"I am not feeling connected to my body which isn't good for a seer.  I need something to ground me and help me feel the energy coming in," she muttered to herself.  "I know what would be good for me!  I need to get some color into my face and spend a quiet moment outside in my favorite space, my own moonflower garden. My moonflowers will help me see clearer," she decided as she started out the back door of the cottage towards her garden.  "I do find it funny," she thought, "for as rare and beautiful moonflowers are how they make the unsuspecting forget even their own names and some of the uncontrollable sneezing."​

As Goodiegood entered the garden, she took a deep breathe and let it out slowly. As she started to relax she began to think of all of the interesting foods she had shared at Parsley's.  "While that Horn Melon drink was interesting, I will admit I had never had Dragon Fruit pie before," she thought.  "But that Mingle Berry Mince pie was too delicious for words...  I must get that recipe."  Slowly Goodiegood's reminiscing to herself helped her find her sweet inner place. Though soon thoughts of what was happening in the Realms creeped back into her head.  The look that Arnie had given her as they shooed her away would not disappear.  "Maybe I should have told Arnie more of the vision?" she fretted to herself.  "That's the hard part of being a seer - knowing what to or not to say..."
