Sometimes being a troll has it's advantages, especially a troll with the ability to create music. As the rest of the group continued arguing about what and why each were there at The Wishing Well, Hewy began to sing. Very softly at first, but soon, as the words continued to form in his mind, he started singing louder and louder until finally the others noticed. The arguing slowly ended as each realized that the others too had stopped and were now listening to the troll.
but for good to win the evil must not prevail;
for if evil wins forever magic will be changed or lost
and the Realms will suffer at the cost.
For in the telling of this tale a musician must play
as the dryad who has forsaken it's way;
the troll will mend what was once broken
as they both must gain the Dragyn 's token.
As Hewy started to repeat each of the stanzas to the prophecy for Hungry, the others moved closer as they too wanted to hear it again. All of them failed to notice, so focused were they on the Troll, Dewin slowly edging closer to the Wish Dragon while summoning his magic. Just as he was ready to release his incantation, Sprigg'n bumped him and interrupted the casting of the spell.
Before Hewy could answer, Efem decided it was time for her to speak out. "Hungry, you are the last of the Wish Dragons. As a matter of fact, you are the last Dragon in all of the Realms that we can find. The others have all disappeared and have not returned. That is why we think you are the Dragon of the prophecy." While listening to the Tree Mother, Hungry absent mindedly started eating one of the sweets that he and The CAT had picked up on the way to The Wishing Well.
