| For Hir'aeth is not known for his gentleness - as he wears his heart safely on the outside on his chain that he keeps close to him at all times. By keeping his heart separate he likes to think that he makes less emotional judgements than others who don't. He still believes that if the other leaders in the Realm would have consulted him, then maybe the Wish Dragons wouldn't have left and he could have made everything right. |  |
 | He recently heard a rumor which required eyes and ears in his kingdom to find out more. He needed someone to trust, but he doesn't trust anyone anymore. Good thing that the king likes to tinker and create mechanical devices which is why he built himself a reliable wind-up minion who could fly in the air and report only to him. He called it a Rave and was quite pleased with the job he did, even if he says so himself. |
So what was the rumor and why the concern about the Wish Dragons? When the Dragons left the Realms, they took with them some of the power of "belief". When one quits believing in magic it diminishes - which then affect his power. This isn't to be tolerated!
| Hir-aeth has heard about the return of a Wish Dragon and knew about the old tales of the Blue Rose in the Dragon's talisman, but he also knows something that the Troll King doesn't. That if a Wish Dragon consumes the Blue Rose, the Wish Dragon will become one of the rarest forms of Wish Dragon - a Moon Dragon! He must be first in finding this rose and proving the rumor to be true. Also, if the scrolls are right, he will have some sort of power over the Wish Dragon... but that is little consequence as long as he gets the talisman before the King of the Trolls. |  |
