Twitchy Nose...

As Arnie came further into the Goodie's cottage, (after closing the door of course, like the voice had told her to do) she couldn't believe her eyes.  So many things to see especially all the books and boxes. "Wow!"  Arnie whispered to herself, "Goodies must be part Borrower for all the things that are stacked around in the room."  ​Hopefully that meant that the Goodies could truly help her with this Dragon tablet problem she thought. 

Then Arnie's nose began to twitch. When her nose starts to twitch, it's a sure sign that something nearby was worth 'borrowing', but there was also a scent in the air.  She had smelled it occasionally and then that was usually only when she visited the Outie's (mundane) world.  "What was it doing here?" she wondered.  It had a touch of the smell of the orange gourd that was sitting by the Goodie's brewing pot when the scent spun around the room again.  "There must be the touch of magic here," she decided as her nose continued to wiggle.

While her thoughts were on what was brewing in the pot, a voice popped up as if the speaker was reading her mind. "That's Pumpkin Spice.  Isn't it ambrosial?  We are constantly brewing a pot for our guests as it is very popular.  It seems to be in almost everything now... even the Outie's world has picked up on it," continued the strange voice.

"I am still getting ready," said the voice. "I wasn't expecting you for another week.  By the way, I am Goodie2shue and I will be out in a moment as I decide what shoes I am wearing.  I  DO LOVE my shoes!"

Arnie could hear some rustling around off to the side of her and some more muttering but as it got louder she could hear, "While I am getting ready I can tell you a little about myself.  I am the youngest of my sisters and of course that means I do try to look my best," Goodie2shue shouted out. 

Silently stepping a little closer to where the voice seemed to be coming from (as only a Borrower can do), Arnie could now hear what Goodie2shue was muttering about, "Where are my ruby red bunny slippers?" It's impossible to find them at times," growled Goodie2shue.  "You would think being red would make them easier to find, but they keep running off with those dust bunnies! I guess I could wear something else, but those are my 'favorite' pair of slippers.  What should I do???"
