What to reveal about Scarlet?

​A little Sneak Peek --- A rose by any other name is still a rose.  This means that no matter who he was before or what he has done, Scarlet acquired his name and simply has forgotten over time what he was called before.

​He remembers being one of the Fae who decided to leave the land outside the Shadows' Realm and live within the Shadows.  Usually he thinks of himself as a peaceful, kinda quiet Fae.  Leave him alone, he says little and goes about his business, but when he is mad, watch out. 

​He has a little of his cousin Rumpelstiltskin's temper in his veins and how his face turns bright red when he is upset.  Therefore, the name of Scarlet has stuck ever since.

Now, knowing this about him, if I render him with his fiery temper showing, who would want to be around that much fireworks?  He finally agreed to show his sweeter side of his personality to me (but I had to let him know that if he didn't, I would sculpt his nose bigger than it really is).

​As for what he does, he is the farrier for the Nytemares.  What does that mean?  (No, a farrier is not what you call a male Fae, they are still called Fae.)  He creates the shoes for the Nytemares for their nightly runs.

He stays pretty busy keeping them in the stables until it is time for them to go out at night.  Scarlet does not have the same anger at the Outies and the Dragons as the Nytemares do, so he does what he can to keep them in check.  In doing that, he has kept this shape now for so long that even he does not remember his real form anymore.

​So what Scarlet has shared with me, I have now shared with you.  Soon, I hope, he will be willing to reveal more about himself...
