"Why go shopping of course! So I packed the Outie (Lesley) safely in behind the driver's seat of her coach (she said it was called a 'car') and headed into town to visit her favorite shopping place called Joann's Fabrics. Wow! I could not believe the stuff they had there and my Outie said that they don't use magic to get it... (I still think she must be delusional)."
"With my electric blue hair, I wanted a fun fantasy look which my Outie told me earned me my 'stripes'. There is something about stripes that make her smile when she sees them on a faery. So when I first made eye contact with her and showed her my inner sparkle we knew the hunt was on for the perfect stripes."
"But do you know how hard it is to get stretchy striped material in a small town (and without using magic)?"
"While we were looking around in the shop, I convinced the Ou- oops - Lesley, that I would look dazzling in purple but I also needed to have lots of POCKETS. Pockets are very necessary to a Borrower (we need places to put stuff while we look at other stuff that catches our eye...)."
Welcome to my blog. This is where I will reveal the magic of my Fae and their stories and share with you some of the success and pitfalls through the journey of doll making, sculpting, and other crafts that all come back to my dolls in many ways.
