Just a couple sprinkles of this and you have Parsley's mouth watering Chicken Salad. Enjoy!

While Meen was hopping around the palace, Griselda was digging through the books in her library at the mansion. The colorful glo-bug lights and decorated tree certainly were putting her in the mood to curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book. What better place to read the stories of old and enjoy a nice cup of tea?
"Maybe there was something to this zooming stuff that the others were gossiping about," she thought. Griselda gathered up her letter from Mrs. Claus with the Coffee Cake Muffin Recipe and decided that a visit to Parsley just might be the thing to do. "Nothing like reaching out to friends far and near... or was that dear (*smiling*) for the holidays".
As Granny continued to listen she found that when her PEE-C arrived, she was going to need to connect to something called a Zoom. There she would find a portal where she could cook and talk with Parsley just like she was in her kitchen.
So, as Granny and Parsley dive into their cook books and herbs, let me share a recipe or two from them for this holiday season. And if you haven't tried the gluten and dairy free pumpkin pies... click on this link to go there -
GLUTEN & DAIRY FREE PUMPKIN PIE RECIPIE (oops - Recipe) If Efem and Cornelia are coming over to Parsley's, then she better wake up and get her face on. As I am working with her face, I do feel like I paint in clay rather than sculpt in clay. Just like applying makeup to a face, it is all about the layering process.
Maybe Parsley isn't necessarily a main ingredient to a meal, but it does add it's own flavor. Plus, I am enjoying discovering it's healing properties along the way, all which make for an interesting adventure. Simply peal and pit the avocados and then slice them to whatever size you like to work with. When I make something, I tend to use 1/2 of an avocado at a time, so my slices are more liked halves. Also keep in mind the ripeness of the avocado because whatever level of ripeness it is frozen at, is what it is when thawed.
So while Cornelia is away and Nemmer has his nose buried in the latest issue of "Arrows are Us - The Golden Guild Guide Book"... let's take a peek at a special secret recipe of hers.
Pull the pan out of the freezer and then place a layer of the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate. A few minutes in the freezer might help keep the chocolate that is the top layer from blending with the peanut butter level or leave a bigger space to add more chocolate to top it off with. Either way, place the final layer of the chocolate sauce on top and then place in the freezer for a good hour (I did mine overnight).
This recipe is going to be in two sections. First is the recipe for making dairy free condensed milk which is required for the Nut Log recipe. Now on to MY version of Nut Logs. The ingredients are:
These are the brand names of the products I used (see picture). The Enjoy Life dark chocolate morsels are dairy, nut and soy free. If you want the cookies to be gluten free (because oatmeal may have some gluten) then substitute Rice Krispies cereal as a suggestion. Also coconut can be added if so desired.
Pumpkin Pie... Gluten Free and Dairy Free Ingredients for the Crust
After filling the uncooked pie shells with the pie filling, I then place them in the oven at 350 degrees for approximately 45-50 minutes. All that is left now is to figure out how to make the soy whipping cream...
